“I think that design is a superpower. It’s more than ink on paper, it’s joy, laughter, sorrow, and advocation. As an artist I tend to look outward into the world, attempting to put myself into the shoes of my audience, asking myself - who will this impact?”
More About Me
My name is Hannah Schaffer, I am a graphic designer and aspiring art director. I grew up in upstate New York and spent a lot of my childhood exploring many outdoor activites such as biking, hiking, skiing, kayaking, and camping. My upbringing continues to fuel my desire for adventure as an adult. I grew up in a multicultural household, my mother is a first generation immigrant from Sweden and a lot of my values come from my unique perspective of the two cultures that my family embraced. I found myself interested in art at a very young age. I was always a talented illustrator and continously persued my creative interests throughout high school. During my time at the University of Delaware developed countless skills in graphic design and strategic creative development. I look forward to my career in a creative industry and am excited to see how it will shape me as a person and help bring my values and personality come to life through art.
